Wrimo Stuff

Okay so here's the plan, I need to pull at least 5000 words a day because I've been lazy.

Well not really lazy but really, really apathetic about concentrating on the writing. I have the house to myself most nights so I'm going to concentrate hard on churning up that word count.

I'm just going to write any thing that comes into my head. Perhaps my fantasy novel will take determinedly un-fantasy twists. That's cool. It's Nano. Reality shouldn't matter.

I need to choke my inner-editor to death so badly.

I'm already a thousand words behind quota. *face-palm*

Or something to that effect.

It's been a hectic week in which I have dedicated myself to completely avoiding any plot-work for tomorrow's nano kick-off. I have come to the conclusion someone is going to have their face eaten by a mutant warewolf, perhaps peter beatie - in line with the Brisbane nano dare, but there isn't a context surrounding the event.

I've been thinking of structuring my story around a 'chapter' a day, each will involve a random event based on one sentence I come up with five minutes in advance.

So, for example tomorrow's chapter could be, 'the one in which a has-been media whore gets his face eaten for grinning just that one time too many'.

It's not really a good way to structure a story... and I'm pretty sure I could explode the whole month with a million continuity errors but I think this year it's how I'm going to run things. I put way to much focus on planning in previous years and psyched myself out when the story wouldn't behave.

Most of my entries are going to be cross-posted and will most probably be emailed to the servers and cleaned up in the afternoons so there may not be many images going around. I'll do my best to pretty things up occasionally though :)
